Abstract
Three groups of Syrian golden hamsters each consisting of 30 males and 30 females were given three different doses of nitrosopyrrolidine in their drinking water for the duration of their lives. The animals mainly showed hepatocellular neoplasms. Males were more affected than females and tumor incidence was found to be dose-dependent. No liver tumors were seen in females that received the lowest dose.Entities:
