Abstract
The evaluation of new homogeneous enzyme immunoassay (EMIT) for benzodiazepines is described. The assay, although developed for direct analysis in serum, has been used to detect benzodiazepines in other body fluids and tissues; this is accomplished through two processes. The first consists of a previously reported technique of extraction and reconstitution of the original specimen. The second consists of dilution of the original specimen. The assay is compared to a gas chromatographic procedure.Entities:
