[Comparison of conservative and surgical treatment of the vesico-uretero-renal reflux. International prospective reflux study in children (author's transl)].

.

Abstract

The role the VUR plays in the first development and progressing of the renal parenchymal destruction is generally accepted. The relationship between risk and advantage of a conservative and surgical treatment is still under discussion. A carefully controlled prospective cooperative study aims at a rational base for the individual treatment in children.
