Abstract
A solid-phase enzyme-linked immunoassay for the detection of hepatitis B e-antigen (HBeAg) and antibody (anti-HBe) was developed and compared with rheophoresis and radioimmunoassay (RIA). The enzyme-immunoassay (EIA) was similar to RIA in sensitivity and was approximately 1000-fold more sensitive than rheophoresis for HBeAg, and approximately 6000-fold more sensitive than rheophoresis for anti-HBe.Entities:
