Abstract
We review the evidence that a motor nerve growth factor released from muscle has wide ranging effects on the development and maintenance of muscle innervation. The actions of this putative factor on motor neurons are analogous to the actions of the well known nerve growth factor (NGF) on sympathetic and sensory neurons.Entities:
