Inhibition of uridinediphosphate glucuronyltransferase caused by furosemide.

F Sörgel, F E Beyhl, E Mutschler.

Abstract

The diuretic agent, furosemide, inhibits liver microsomal uridinediphosphate glucuronyltransferase (EC. 2.4.1.17), in monkey and rat. Inhibition is of the non-competitive type.
