Abstract
Behavioural methods were used to measure spatial contrast sensitivity, to vertical sine-wave luminance profile gratings, in hooded rats. Low frequency attenuation of sensitivity was observed at spatial frequencies below 0.1c/deg. This attenuation exceeded that produced by varying the number of periods in the grating, indicating that it was a function of spatial frequency as well as number of periods.Entities:
