Abstract
A volume meter (Dräger Spirolog I) is evaluated for clinical use. It works on the principle of a constant temperature anemometer and displays tidal volume, minute volume and frequency. It was found that the volume recorded was hardly affected by oxygen concentration, humidity or temperature but was affected by high concentrations of nitrous oxide and during the operation of diathermy.Entities:
