Isolated dislocation of the pisiform: a case report and review of the literature.

Abstract

A case of isolated dislocation of the pisiform is reported. Repositioning by open reduction and temporary internal fixation was performed. However, redislocation of the pisiform occurred. Subsequently, removal of the dislocated pisiform bone resulted in good long-term function.
