Abstract
Oligosaccharides were made from Haemophilus influenzae type b capsular polysaccharide and conjugated to CRM(197) by reductive amination. Conjugates were made with a range of lengths and multiplicities of saccharide chains. All elicited a strongly enhanced anti-H. influenzae type b capsular polysaccharide response when injected into weanling rabbits. One series of conjugates also elicited antibodies to diphtheria toxin.Entities:
