Facial profile and orthognathic surgery.

Abstract

The systematic analysis of patients requiring orthognathic surgery is discussed. A summary of the methods of profile assessment, the use of prediction tracings and 1:1 transparent photographs are described. The major changes to be expected following various surgical procedures are enumerated.
