Abstract
The transport of lipids in plasma, and its dietary regulation are briefly reviewed. Plasma lipid concentrations are low in the neonate, rising to near-adult levels by the age of six years. The causes of childhood hyperlipidaemia are discussed and a classification is proposed.Entities:
