[Experimental study on the surgical treatment of tracheal wall defects].

In 56 pigs defects of the anterior tracheal wall were closed by implants of various materials: a net of polyester with hydrogel or autogenised, fascia, mucosa, cartilage, skin. Best results were achieved with cartilage and fascia. The nets of polyester and skin were extruded. Mucosa healed but showed deep folds.
