Abstract
Most mycobacteria are able to make mycobactin for themselves. But, Mycobacterium paratuberculosis, M. avium atypical like wood-pigeon mycobacteria and some strains of M. avium typical for the primary isolation, lack this capacity and require mycobactin for growth in the laboratory.Entities:
