Local anesthetic hernia repair. An analysis of recurrence.

B J Britton, P J Morris.

Abstract

Recurrence rates after local anesthetic hernia repair are as good as those after repair under general anesthesia. Early mobility and return to work within a month reduces the complications without increasing the rate of recurrence.
