Abstract
A cultivable human rotavirus, Wa, was propagated in MA-104 cells and used as an antigen in immune adherence hemagglutination (IAHA) and complement fixation (CF) tests. IAHA antibody titers of sera from normal humans were found to be eightfold higher than CF antibody titers. The IAHA antibody determination with the Wa antigen is considered to be especially useful for the seroepidemiological studies of human rotavirus infections.Entities:
