Abstract
Unexplained osteomalacia may be the result of various neoplasma including ENT tumors. The mechanism of this oncogenic osteomalacia is uncertain, but it may result from a tumor-induced alteration in vitamin-D metabolism or from a direct phosphaturic action of a tumor product. Thorough ENT evaluation of patients presenting with unexplained osteomalacia is indicated, as successful tumor excision can lead to cure.Entities:
