Abstract
The inhibition by acyclovir of the in vitro reactivation of herpes simplex virus from latently infected ganglion explant cultures is dependent on the continuous presence of this drug. Administration of acyclovir subcutaneously, orally, or by continuous perfusion to mice with established latent infections did not eliminate latent virus from the trigeminal ganglia.Entities:
