Abstract
Two cases of malignant transformation in an originally benign mixed tumor of the lacrimal gland (pleomorphic adenoma) are presented. In both patients the unusual histopathologic appearance of the malignant component gave rise to considerable problems in clinical and histopathologic diagnosis. In one case of the malignant tumor had a sarcomatous appearance, while in the other there was sebaceous differentiation mimicking an adenocarcinoma of the Meibomian glands.Entities:
