Abstract
In 24-day-old rats the reappearance of ovarian HCG-receptors up to day 4 after the injection of 200 IU HCG was due only to receptors in non-luteal cells. The receptor capacity increase observed on days 6 and 7 after the hormone injecion resulted from newly synthesized binding sites in luteinizing ovaries. Bromocriptine or an antiestrogen inhibited this receptor synthesis.Entities:
