Abstract
The physiopathologic effects of CO2 pneumoperitoneum on the respiratory and cardiovascular systems were studied in seven patients during gynecologic laparoscopy and volume-controlled ventilation. The CO2 pneumoperitoneum and Trendelenburg position induced a statistically significant decrease in CTL and a significant increase in CVP, PaCO2 and PACO2.Entities:
