Abstract
Linear analogue self-assessment was used to measure the subjective effects of treatment in women with advanced breast cancer. The results show that this technique may be used to monitor the subjective benefit of treatment and to compare the subjective toxicities of different therapeutic regimens. The results also suggest that the subjective toxicity of cytotoxic therapy is not related to the patient's age and diminishes with successive courses of drugs.Entities:
