Activation of the C2to C19 monocarboxylic acids by Pseudomonas.

T J Trust, N F Millis.

Abstract

Cell extracts of pseudomonads grown on hexadecanoic acid contained C(11) to C(19) acyl thiokinase, C(4) to C(14) acyl thiokinase, C(2) to C(6) acyl thiokinase, acetyl thiokinase, and acetokinase.
