2-Thiophenecarboxylic acid: inhibitor of bone resorption in tissue culture.

Abstract

In tissue culture 2-thiophenecarboxylic acid inhibited both spontaneous resorption of bone and that induced by parathyroid hormone. Its action was to inhibit calcium transfer out of bone.
