Abstract
An on-line photochemical reaction detector is described for the identification of ergot alkaloids by high-performance liquid chromatography. The fluorescence signal of alkaloids decreases within about 20 sec of irradiation and disappears selectively from complex chromatograms. The application of this principle to urine samples is described.Entities:
