Crystallization of a sulfate-binding protein (permease) from Salmonella typhimurium.

A B Pardee.

Abstract

Crystallization is reported of a protein that is a component of an active transport system for sulfate into Salmonella typhimurium. This appears to be the component that is specific for binding the substrate.
