Abstract

The dimeric haemoglobin CTT VIIB (Erythrocruorin) of Chironomus thummi thummi, Diptera, has been sequenced. Either globin or globin with maleic acid blocked lysines were cleaved with trypsin. The separation of peptides and the sequence analysis are given in detail.
