Erosion of the pump mechanism of an inflatable penile prosthesis through the scrotum in a diabetic patient.

I Sawczuk, M Wechsler.

Abstract

The semirigid rod and the Scott inflatable penile prosthesis are the two types of penile prostheses currently available. Complications occur with both types, and herein is reported a case of extrusion of the pump mechanism of the inflatable model in a diabetic patient.
