Accidental massive IV administration of cyclosporine in man.

P E Wallemacq, M L Lesne.

Abstract

A 23-year-old female patient being treated for Hodgkin's disease (pulmonary) received by mistake cyclosporine iv instead of tranexamic acid. We followed the evolution of the clinical signs, which were interpreted as possible signs of acute toxicity, and monitored the plasma concentrations over an 84-hour period.
