The 'birth plan' experience.

Abstract

All antenatal patients booked for hospital confinement in Huddersfield have been offered a 'birth plan' on which to indicate their wishes regarding labour ward procedures. The first 100 plans have been analysed and the information supplemented by a questionnaire answered by the women in the puerperium.
