Abstract
Histamine and theophylline, two gastric secretagogues, significantly increased tissue glycerol content by 121 and 66%, respectively, in the isolated toad gastric mucosa. This is new evidence in favor of the hypothesis that gastric secretagogues may act via lipid mobilization.Entities:
