Abstract
BACKGROUND: In the past decade, countries worldwide aimed to evaluate the quality of childbirth care and reduce the high rates of disrespect and abuse during childbirth. Few studies have attempted to identify providers' characteristics associated with respectful maternity care quantitatively.
