Abstract
BACKGROUND: In colonoscopy, good bowel preparation is an important factor in determining the quality of colonoscopy. However, an increase in residual gastric volume (RGV) can lead to a higher risk of aspiration pneumonia. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to investigate the factors related to an increase in RGV with the usage of 1L polyethylene glycol (PEG).Entities:
