Abstract

This editorial discusses the prevailing situation in India as regards early detection of Developmental Dysplasia of the Hip (DDH) and proposes the reasons why this is necessary and what could be the best modalities to apply for this complex situation in a developing country like India. The present time is the best time to develop a National Screening Program for early detection of DDH. © Indian Orthopaedics Association 2021.
