Abstract
BACKGROUND: Gastrointestinal bleeding (GIB) is a potential contributing factor for poor prognosis of spontaneous basal ganglia hemorrhage (BGH). This study aimed to investigate the predictive value of new inflammatory biomarkers including neutrophil to lymphocytes (NLR) on admission and construct a nomogram for rapidly predicting GIB in acute BGH.Entities:

Note: Multivariate logistic regression analysis was calculated for GIB, including parameters showing a statistical trend (p < 0.05) in univariate testing. GCS (OR: 3.18; 95% CI: 1.17–8.59, p = 0.023) and NLR (OR: 1.45; 95% CI: 1.25–1.67, p < 0.001) were significantly associated with GIB.
