Abstract
INTRODUCTION AND HYPOTHESIS: The German "Pelvic Floor Questionnaire for pregnant and postpartum women" is a self-administered questionnaire customized for pregnancy and the postpartum period that assesses four domains of pelvic floor function regarding perceived symptoms, suffering, and impact on quality of life: bladder, bowel, prolapse, and sexual function. No similar questionnaire is available in Swedish, despite a high prevalence of pregnancy and postpartum pelvic floor dysfunction. Thus, we aimed to translate the validated German questionnaire into Swedish and test its validity and reliability in a Swedish population.Entities:
