A simple colorimetric method for screening cyclopiazonic acid in agricultural commodities.

B L Rao, A Husain.

Abstract

A simple and sensitive colorimetric method using p-dimethylaminobenzaldehyde was developed to detect cyclopiazonic acid in agricultural commodities. The method is sensitive within a range of 1-80 micrograms/ml and allows screening large number of samples in a short time.
