Abstract
PURPOSE: Eating disorders (ED) and anxiety impact food choices. In addition, comorbid anxiety seems to increase ED symptoms and severity. However, the association between such comorbidity and dietary intake is unknown. This population-based, cross-sectional study aimed to assess macronutrient intake according to mental health status (i.e., no disorder, pure and comorbid anxiety and ED).Entities:

Anxiety evaluated by Spielberger Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI-T) form Y with threshold of 40 points; score range between 20 and 80 points, with higher scores reflecting higher proneness to anxiety. Types of eating disorders categorized using the Expali algorithm applied to SCOFF questionnaire data. Values are rounded off to one decimal place
