Abstract
Hemolytic crises and aplastic crises in hereditary spherocytosis (HS) are most commonly triggered by viral infections. We present the case of an adolescent girl with HS who developed unexpected and life-threatening complications of her inherited hemolytic anemia as a consequence of anorexia nervosa and severe malnutrition.Entities:
