Abstract
BACKGROUND: Studies using salivary inflammatory biomarkers for diagnosing and monitoring the progression of periodontal disease have garnered increased attention in recent years. The present study aimed to identify changes in clinical parameters and concentrations of salivary matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) following 6 weeks of non-surgical periodontal therapy (NSPT).Entities:
