Abstract
BACKGROUND: Sexually transmitted infections (STIs), such as gonorrhea and chlamydia infections, are prevalent worldwide, in the United States, and in Mississippi (MS). The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the healthcare system, particularly in disadvantaged areas such as the MS Delta.Entities:

1NG is gonorrhea, caused by the bacterium Neisseria gonorrhoeae.
2CT is chlamydia, caused by the bacterium Chlamydia trachomatis.
3TV is trichomonas, a common sexually transmitted disease (STD) that is caused by a protozoan parasite called Trichomonas vaginalis.
4CA is candidiasis, a fungal infection caused by the organism Candida albicans.
5GC is Gardnerella vaginalis, an infection that can be transmitted from one sexual partner to the other. It can contribute to a common reproductive health condition called bacterial vaginosis.
