Dear Editor,In October–December 2021 issue of the Journal of Human Reproductive Sciences, Gunasheela et al. constructed age-specific nomograms of serum anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) and antral follicle count (AFC) in Indian infertile women.[1] Apart from a few study limitations addressed by the authors, we believe that the following limitation is worthy. Since serum AMH and AFC age-specific values could differ across various age-matched ethnic populations,[23] nomograms have been generated for certain multiethnic populations.[4] India is an ethnically diverse country. Regrettably, the authors did not take into consideration the ethnic standards of the studied population in the study methodology. Hence, the abovementioned methodological limitation might additionally curtail the utility of the constructed nomogram in clinical practice and researches in India.
