Abstract
AKI is associated with a high rate of mortality in patients managed with VA ECMO after out-of-hospital cardiac arrest.Therapeutic hypothermia is associated with hypokalemia and hypophosphatemia.During rewarming after hypothermia, hyperphosphatemia and hyperkalemia can develop.
