Abstract
Aim: The aim of the study is to evaluate the influence of the timing of antenatal steroids (ANSs) on neonatal outcome of very low birth weight infants (VLBWI) born before 30 weeks of gestation in the German Neonatal Network.Entities:

Logistic regression models were used and adjusted for gestational age, gender, mode of delivery, SGA, multiples. Outcomes are reported as odds ratios (OR) and 95% confidence intervals. Reference category for the analysis was “no ANS”.
ANS, antenatal steroids; IVH, intraventricular hemorrhage; BPD, bronchopulmonary dysplasia; PVL, periventricular leukomalacia.
Bonferroni correction did not change the significance of the p-value. Significant Values are in bold.
