Abstract
BACKGROUND: We aimed at investigating the incidence, characteristics and outcome of ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP) in patients after cardiac arrest (CA) and its potential association with mild therapeutic hypothermia (MTH). We hypothesized, that MTH might increase the risk of VAP.Entities:
