Abstract
BACKGROUND: Laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy (LSG) is a widely performed procedure nowadays. There is a controversy on whether antrum resection (AR) or antrum preservation (AP) should be done and if this has an effect on BMI, gastric emptying, and associated medical conditions such as diabetes mellitus (DM).
