Abstract
BACKGROUND: To improve implant survival through accelerated early bone remodeling during total hip arthroplasty (THA), hydroxyapatite (HA) is widely used as a bioactive coating, which is believed to enhance initial fixation by osseointegration. We aimed to investigate the relationship between stem insertion alignment and postoperative bone mineral density (BMD) changes in patients with full hydroxyapatite-coated (HA) compaction short stem and short tapered-wedge stem.Entities:
