Normally distributed data are expressed as the mean ± standard deviation, and data with a skewed distribution are expressed as the median and interquartile range; a, indicates a statistically significant difference (P<0.05) between the two groups. Data conforming to a normal distribution in both groups were analyzed by independent-samples t-test; otherwise, the Mann-Whitney U test was used. TB, tuberculosis; PLC, peripheral lung cancer; VP, venous phase; AP, arterial phase.
