Abstract
BACKGROUND: Allergic rhinitis (AR) is an immunoglobulin E (IgE)-mediated inflammatory response. Persistent allergic rhinitis (PAR) is a subtype of AR, but the treatment of PAR is still a problem. Acupuncture is used as an alternative therapy for AR in clinical practice. The aim of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of acupuncture therapy combined with fluticasone propionate nasal spray in comparison to fluticasone propionate nasal spray alone in the relief of symptoms for PAR.Entities:
