Fig. 1Flow diagram of the study. We identified 38,037 participants aged ≥18 years and diagnosed with malignant neoplasm of the cerebral meninges or brain between January 2003 and December 2017. The 11,823 participants who were exposed to zolpidem included 4,896 who died up to the end of the study period, while 9,625 of the 26,214 participants who were not exposed to zolpidem died up to the end of the study period.
